1. Confirm you have an Island
iPhone 14 Pro / 14 Pro Max, then iPhone 15 and newer (including non-Pro 15). iPhone 14 / 14 Plus use a notch, not Dynamic Island. “14 and newer” in marketing is not “every 14 has an Island.”
If the hardware never had it, Settings will not add it.
Charge while 26.6 finishes — USB-C PD hub. Indexing makes Live Activities late to post (iOS 26.6).

Timer works, Music doesn’t: Apple Music. Neither works: Live Activities / SpringBoard.

Tap the pill — iOS 26 Liquid Glass sometimes looks “stuck compact” until you tap. Reduce Transparency if the animation is sludge.
3. Focus, StandBy, Lock Screen
